Welcome to our new website. As you see from the first words, “It’s not just me”.
We work as a collective and separately; in other words, we have a core group which began in Wolverhampton with myself, Sam and the action group there – we might not be here but for that so I, for one, am immensely grateful and do still live there.
I recognised that we had to tell more people and developed the script for a first presentation and before I knew it, without any marketing at all, I was asked to visit other places. There are still plenty of towns, cities and villages where I haven’t been so do write or phone if you are from one of those.
Then it became obvious that I needed more help and along came Jane and Judith who are still part of our Mentors team. More recently they were joined by Bill, Fiona and Sarah, and now they are the mainstay of the drive to prevent base stations being approved by Local Planning Authorities. With much success.
The picture is variable around the UK but those that make objections consistently over time are having up to 80% of applications refused. If that is not your local experience, please get in touch as we can help.
We won’t ‘do it’ for you but can give training, support and advice – AND it is all free*. Just pop ‘down’ to the contacts button.
When contacting us, we ask that you give your name and town/city/village as we may know others nearby and could link you, also a ‘phone number so we can call you.. If it is about an application for planning, then also give us the link to your Council home page and the application reference. If you don’t know how to find those give as much as you can. There is a video tutorial (Tutorial 1) which is designed to help you do that.
There is also a sister site www.estherslist.org which is all about sharing applications and supporting each other; you should know that ‘anyone can comment on any planning application’ and that means UK wide.
If you haven’t already then do have a browse through everything on the site, it is all for anyone to read and much can be downloaded. Some of the documents will have useful highlights and they should all have the original source noted.
If this is all new to you then doubly welcome and if you are already supporting the work, thank you.
There are many people around the UK doing great work around all aspects of the increasing non-ionising radiation (NIR) being summarily spread over us and our earthly environment. We are part of these wider individuals and groups that we may not even know about. That is wonderful. I never wanted it to become a single group and still don’t. I carry out my role whilst I can still offer my talent and skills and until I am no longer required.
That is all we can ask of anyone. Together, but without central control, we are capable of amazing things.

PS Recently, whilst preparing for a presentation I came across an old slide which gave me a reminder back a decade when I was observing what was happening. As a reminder we (and our Government) would do well to regard it.
